Immo is surrounded by beautiful faces all the time. But beyond beauty and perfection he is seeking to capture his model’s soul. Seeking for special moments that linger in the memory. Especially shooting on film is a way for Immo to consciously take his time and share a small glint in the model’s eye with the beholder of his work.
Making his way into photography by shooting stills and beauty shots he is now working for big cosmetic and haircare brands like L’Oréal or Wella both as a photographer and DOP working together with well-known directors.
Whenever Immo is not busy working commercially he shoots personal works gathering a crew of great stylists and hair & make up artists be it in his own studio, by the seaside or in the streets of Paris. His distinct curiosity and his interest in people have led him to Ethiopia in the south and Iceland in the north shooting and filming for a social project and challenging his own work.
Immo is living in Cologne and partly in Berlin.
